Why I love PA...

We had a GREAT visit to PA. Drove up Wednesday night and back home to VA today. Visited Aunt Jo and Uncle Bob's house for Thanksgiving Day. Drove to Harrisburg to see Jill and her family on Friday. Saturday we did some geocaching with Mike and his family. (I was in the same class as his sister. His mom, dad, and wife joined in the cache hunt. We got 3 caches together, made a start on a 4th difficult cache, and received clues to yet another cache in Waynesboro...which we went and found on our own. All in all, we got a total of 6 cache finds this week-end!!!) Last night, Grammy helped us work on the clue to "In The Lion's Den" and we went there again this morning to find the coordinates and the cache box. Worth the work it took to figure it out!!! We are already planning next week-end's hunt...it is definitely addicting. Lots and lots of traffic on the way home but we made it with no problems.

A photographic essay of some of the things I love about PA...

My grandparents are at rest here and there is a beautiful view of the surrounding orchards and small towns from their grave...

Friends and family...(this was the "Estrogen" room)

More friends and family...(this was the "Testosterone" room, Little Estrogen was only in there to take drink orders)

Grammy...

and Pappy...

Wild turkey and deer that I can view out my bedroom window...

My friends (hi Jill!)...

Views of beautiful valleys...

Marshlands with views of beautiful mountains...

The Blue Ridge Summit Library (no, this isn't the REAL library, it's the FIRST library that existed in BRS)...

Little geocaches...

and BIG geocaches...

History...

Happy kids and being able to stand in two states at the same time (MD/PA)...

More happy kids (Tinna with her cache - a tube of toothpaste)

and even MORE happiness! (William with his cache - a green car)...

And the last thing I love about PA...I can walk into almost any department store and buy a new Penn State t-shirt! GO STATE!!!
