I am just soooo out of control...

Last month, a fellow knitter/blogger blogged about this roving she dyed. I commented and that was the end of it...until today when I saw this announcement on her blog.

I'm excited to announce the opening of my Etsy shop, The Vildish Twist!

I am carrying fiber that I have dyed as well as my handspun yarn. I hope you'll come by and see me there, and thanks for all the wonderful encouraging comments on the blog!

Needless to say, it didn't take more than one click to gain access to her Etsy shop...then a tiny bit more work to scroll down and discover that Inside The Glacier was for sale! And at price I could afford! Waaa-hoo! I clicked and paid (love Paypal) and it is currently being readied for shipment to ME. ME!!! It was also the kick in the butt that I needed to start spinning again. Gosh, it's been weeks...about 3 to be exact. Once I lost my spinning spot in the front room it was all downhill. This afternoon, I found a new spot near the back door in the family room with the nice warm sun coming in through the window. I bet I spun for at least 2 hours. Ash came over and worked on her socks and I spun. She is almost ready to make heels on hers...tonight will be spent trying to catch up with her. Ha! It's good friendly knitting competition. But I figure, I'll let her go first and make any mistakes that can be made and then she can teach me. How 'bout that, eh? I'm pretty smart (or sneaky).

It's dinnertime now and after dinner the twinkies have Kindermusik...so I better get rolling. I just had to brag about scoring the Glacier roving. I can't wait to squish it!

Wow, Shannon, you made me blush! Thanks so much for your kind words. I'm thrilled that you are excited about the fiber! I'm spinning it right now and I have to tell you that I'm falling for the Falklands wool. I think you'll enjoy it, too!

Thanks again!
