Class of '88 - The Way We Were...

May 1988 ready to board the bus for our senior class trip to FL

Robin, me, and Sharon at our reunion - Robin and Sharon are my two BFFs from high school...we were in band and choir together. Fun times!

We had a great week-end in PA...and as always, it was way too short. We started our drive on Saturday morning and arrived early enough in the afternoon to go for a few short walks in the woods. Later that night we went to my 20 year high school class reunion. What a great time that was seeing everyone and how we've all changed since 1988!!! Sunday, a delicious crab boil in York to visit with Grammy's side of the family and my BFF Sue, aka "Aunt Sue" drove down from H'bg for that. We drove back home today. Phew! I'm tired but so happy to have seen family and friends.

Below are lots and lots of photos from this week-end...there are even more on Flickr!

I dug my old Barbie case out of the attic and the girls were thrilled by what they found...

Clothes and dolls just as I left them some 20-odd years ago. See Lindsay Wagner /Jamie Summers (the topless one)? She was the Bionic Woman in the 1970's. She has flaps in her arms and legs so you can see her bionics. She could kick Barbie's ass in a heartbeat.

My dad has been busy all summer hauling loads of wood. 64 loads to date. Here's the outdoor wood furnace that heats his house and the shelter he's building over top of it so he can keep the wood and himself dry. I think he's almost ready for the winter!

More wood at the top of the driveway

And wood at the bottom of the driveway!

Will & Tinna walking down the driveway. I used to hate having to walk down this to catch the bus to school in the winter. Somedays it was easier to sit on my butt and slide!

WASHS Class of 1988 (well, some of us at any rate...there were 366 in our graduating class)
