Oooh, baby baby, love-aaaa!

Here she is...mah baby lova Lendrum! I got her put together this evening after dinner. I haven't had a chance to spin anything yet as I am completely exhausted tonight!

We had the big playdate. A total of 8 kids, one family didn't come because their baby is sick. I was surprised that no one fought, no one tattled, nothing got broken (that I know of yet), and every child helped clean up! We had pizza for lunch. Guests left around 2:45. My kids then got in the pool and swam for an hour. Then tv for about 30 minutes and then we walked the dog. I seriously didn't sit down until almost 5:00 tonight. I started working on the mess below (photo) and then made dinner. Kids played Wii for awhile but the fighting got worse the closer it got to bedtime. We had some stories and everyone is now crashed.

I woke up this morning with my right shoulder and arm feeling like I did something wild and crazy yesterday. The only thing I could remember doing was holding my arms up to ply that yarn last night. I really didn't think that would give me these kids of muscle aches and it wasn't until about 4:30 this afternoon that I realized I played two rounds of boxing on the Wii yesterday! That game is EVIL. Oh, man, do I hurt today!!!

So...here's the knotted mess of singles that I cannot figure out. I think I'm done trying at this point. Tonight I was able to get two ends separated out, one is being wound on the nosty and one on a piece of tissue paper but now I've got them both into the middle and neither one will budge. *sigh* I have NO CLUE how this happened but it is a big royal mess and I'm tired of looking at it. I hope it counts towards my Tour de Fleece race because I've sure wasted a lot of time trying to sort it out!

Here are the kids all eating lunch.

That's about all from here for today. I'm beat and heading to bed. Maybe I'll get to try out my baby lova Lendrum tomorrow!
