Dam Neck again

Easy day yesterday. Got up, walked the dog, fed the kids, packed the car and headed out to Dam Neck beach again. The temps were perfect...low 80's...no humidity to speak of. The unfortunate side, it was very windy once we crossed the dunes and got over to the beach AND it was high tide. After about 30 minutes of being there (11:00 or so arrival time), the lifeguards pulled everyone out of the water and it remained that way until about 4:00 p.m. Maureen and Kristi and Kristi's friend Cara came out to meet us around 2:30, so while Steven had Delaney and William in the water, Mo and I had our girly time. Tinna stayed near us digging in the sand for seashells or whatever other treasures she could find. We left the beach at 6:45, stopping for an unplanned dinner at McDonald's.

Delaney and William both learned to body surf yesterday once the tide went out a bit so that was fun to watch. Photos below: twins having lunch, beautiful Delaney, Kristi & Will in the waves, Will on boogie board, Kristi Delaney Cara in the waves.
