Well, it's 9:58 and our last night in San Diego. Rachel (across the street) watched the kids for us this afternoon so we could get our work done and then cooked dinner for us as well! A bunch of the neighbors came over to her house to bid us farewell and Heather came to our house later in the evening to say good-bye. It's bittersweet...I know there is a new house waiting for us at the end of this adventure and we are going to feel more settled because the house is OURS and has the potential to remain ours for quite awhile...but we are leaving behind some really wonderful people. Thanks to everyone who has been a part of our lives and our "family" for the past 10 months. We are really going to miss all of you!
I can't take too much time to write tonight. We still have some toiletries to pack up and then to bed for some sleep. We'll be up early in the morning to finish loading, vacuuming, and cleaning bathrooms, and then plans are to be on the road heading for Tucson, AZ before 10 am.
I'll upload some photos tomorrow night if hotel internet connections allow it.
