I will not say "Nothing bad has ever happened to me on Friday the 13th" because, you know, if I say it, something bad will happen. However, I'm not really AFRAID of Friday the 13th or of black cats crossing my path or of black cats crossing my path ON Friday the 13th. In all honesty, I wish a black cat WOULD cross my path...and maybe stay awhile. I need a familiar...
For those of you who would like some info about Friday the 13th, you can see it below. Very interesting. Love the Scandinavian lore behind it all. Leave it to Loki (a trickster) to have a hand in these superstitions!
Oh, and by the way...how many of you are afraid of the number 13? How many of you have 13 letters in your names? You'll see why I ask if you look at the links below.

Not much going on here today but I did get to take the twins down the street earlier and show them how a tree gets cut down and made into mulch. We were able to watch the guy waaaay up in the tree cutting the branches and the two other guys on the ground helping him. Very cool. And sad. For the tree. I'm guessing it was becoming a hazard as it was *very* tall. I hope the home owners are smart enough to plant a new one to replace it. We can't have enough trees. But then again, I'm a tree-hugging dirt worshiper, so there you have it.
