I'll be absent for a few days. I lost one of my very best friends tonight. My understanding, which is not exactly clear at the moment, is that she died from a massive infection that led to cardiac arrest. She was in the ER for heart problems 2 weeks ago. John said "they missed it." (meaning the infection) I keep telling myself it's all a nasty prank, but I know it's not. I'm in shock. Stace, aka slut, leaves behind two beautiful boys and husband, and also a mother, father, and sister -and many, many friends - all who will miss her very badly.. A big part of my heart goes with her and there's not much else I can say right now. So...
