Now for the news...Steve has finally received confirmation that he will be receiving orders to Norfolk, VA next. We will be leaving CA sometime at the end of May...schlepping all 3 kids, a dog, and a red eared slider turtle back across the country...and setting up house. I'm happy. Closer to home, closer to friends. We're going to try to buy a house this time as he really thinks he can get a follow on tour from the same area after these next two years are finished. After that, well, we'll be done with the Navy so there will be other benefits to living on the East Coast again. Of course, with all of this talk about moving, I'm now having insomnia. I woke last night around 1:30 only to find myself still awake and worrying at 4:30. Three hours of tossing and turning and trying to tell myself not to think about it anymore. I'm sure it will all work out but what a job it's going to be!
Here are some photos from yesterday...

New pop-up puppets...look how happy the kids are!

The evil Rumplestiltskin himself.

Delaney and her new marionette. Look - it's already twisted into knots and she only had it for about 5 minutes at that point.

"It ain't low - unless it's a Low Rider" (yes, that is a real quote that we used to hear on AFN TV when we lived in Iceland)

Shannon, time for you to get your eyes checked. That's not a Low Rider, that's an abandoned truck, a.k.a. in PA and WV as a "lawn ornament."
Shannon, your aunt Lori is right! Someone stoled the tires and wheels and there it sits!
Sheesh...the thing had wheels. It's a dark photo. REALLY! I'll email you a copy that you can brighten and see for yourselves...
