In search of the perfect tree...

Most of the day yesterday was spent running errands with Steven and the twins. Around noon, we picked up Laney at school, ate a quick lunch and went off in search of the perfect tree...we found it for $40 at the Home Depot...about $30 less than the other places we checked out. Here are a few photos from our trip.

Searching...and finding it!

Tinna, the purse girl! She carries a purse everywhere. It usually contains two "cell phones".

Delaney, always spinning.

Finally, if you live in Iceland or have ever lived in Iceland and know what these are called and what they do, please let us know! It is obvious they are supposed to hang on something but we cannot figure it out (or remember!).

Today is being spent at home cleaning the house and bringing out the Christmas decorations. Chanukkah started last night so I think there are some plans in the works to make potato latkes and maybe sufganiyot if the mama gets motivated. There could be some dreidel playing later as well!
