Spinning, spinning, spinning

There's not much going on around here besides my spinning! After the excitement of the week-end, I've needed a rest! I'm spinning much more than 10 minutes each day. Here's proof...

I'm working on my second bobbin of this and hope to ply them in the next day or two and then start on the batt from Loop. I also ordered another stash enhancer from AllSpunUp and will show that off when it gets here.

Hubs has been gone for the past 10 days and is due to make his return this morning. His honey-do list grows longer each day, poor guy. Thankfully for both of us, this was his last deployment until sometime next spring. This morning I walked out to the garden and saw a bunch of tomato plants on the ground. Ugh! This means immediate work for us in the sweltering heat...his cousin suggested we tie up the plants and that means building a support system of some sort. Next year, not so many tomato plants methinks!!!

That's about it from here. No big plans today except swimming in the pool...if the smoke subsides by the early afternoon (still fires in NC sending their smell this way).

You can buy tomato cages to put around the plants and they can easily be moved and reused next year where ever you need them. Kathy

They are way beyond tomato cage size at this point...unless the cage is some kind of contraption that comes apart on the sides. The things are almost as tall as me!

You can get them that they come apart on the sides. It also makes them easy to store, because they fold up!
