Return to Dog Beach - Part II

Wow, we just love Dog Beach! Haven't been there in a l-o-n-g time...since the weather turned cooler...maybe as long ago as November now that I'm thinking about it. It was beautiful here yesterday...low-80's...sunny...a bit breezy. PERFECT weather for DB. We packed up a lunch and spent most of the day there.

We hit a park closer to home this morning. Stopped by the donut shoppe and grabbed breakfast (yes, we do this now and then...maybe once a month)...took the kids' bikes and sand toys and spent about 3 hours at the park playing. Even Henry went along. It's cooler today...about 62F as I write this (3:50pm).

When the twins went down for naps today, I started cleaning. Debbie and Katie (Steve's sister and neice) are coming in tomorrow from NY. Katie will be spending 3 or 4 days with us while Debbie does some work up in LA, then Debbie will drive back down at the end of the week and we'll all spend the week-end together. Should be fun. I think the kids will like having someone to play with. The girls are sure looking forward to having their nails painted!

Besides that, there's not much planned for this week. I'm reading a great book on Asatru right now so my thoughts are certainly elsewhere. I sent Steven off to find another saga for me in his college library...let's hope he shows up with it tonight if he knows what's good for him! =)

The kids at Dog Beach. This is a nice family we met...it was made up of 2 sets of twins and 1 older sibling. The oldest twins are fraternal girl/girl and the youngest set is fraternal boy/girl. Of course, the younger set is just Delaney's age so now she has a new boyfriend...VINNIE.
